A picture of the owner

I became a Licensed Paralegal in 2017 and I was also fortunate enough to realize that time goes by too fast, not to pursue my true passion.

My passion has always been to work with/for animals, even from a legal standpoint. To fight for the welfare and ethical treatment of animals has always been a true goal of mine.

I feel it is a privilege to work with peoples Furbaby's. To a lot of people their pet IS their child. My own animals have always been treated like they are my children. To put your animal in someone else's care can be nerve-wracking at first, but I ensure you, with each pet that comes into my care, I vow to treat them like my own. Animals deserve to be treated with respect, kindness, love and require the utmost care.

I pride myself in being an animal activist, maintaining a vegan lifestyle (for over 5 years now!!) and fully supporting many groups who spread awareness of the inhumane treatment of animals.

Some of the foundations/groups I support are:

·         Adopt a pet Ontario

·         Dog Tales Rescue and sanctuary

·         Finding Them Homes

·         The Save Movement

·         The Vegan Outreach

·         Wishing Well Sanctuary

·         Vegan Community

·         Toronto Pig Save

·         Animal Equality

·         Anonymous for The Voiceless

·         Vegandale Festival

·         Toronto Chicken Save

·         Redemption Paws

·         Animal Justice Project

·         Ontario OSPCA

·         Toronto Fur Animal Save

And many more.

*If you want to stay in the loop on their daily progress to bettering the lives of all animals, you can find a lot of these groups on Facebook & Instagram *

Introducing your pet to new people and other dogs

* If you have a timid or fearful pet, regular walks can help them build confidence and trust. You will likely be exposing your pet to other humans and animals alike, and with a Walker there for comfort your pet can learn to be comfortable around them

* Become acclimated to all types of sights, sounds, and smells in a positive manner

Continuously taking them out of their comfort zone

Making sure your dog is comfortable with different parts of their body being handled.  This will ensure that if they must be handled in an emergency they will be less likely to bite

Dogs are very much like children, If you are not giving them something constructive to do, you may not like what they choose to do

* When there is a consistent routine in place they tend to be happier and less stressed.

Not only does a weekly routine of walks establish a healthier dog but it decreases the chances of illness and depression

Remove the sense of guilt from not being able to let your dogs out during your work day

* Opportunity to relieve themselves

* Yes they may "be able” to hold it but that does not mean its good for their bladder, urinary tract or kidneys

* Less attention seeking behavior. Barking and whining can just be signs that your pet wants some attention from you. Daily walks will give your pet some of the attention they require and deserve

Regular exercise

* Helps with physical and mental health

* Regulates weight

* Extremely beneficial to their digestive system, and it can aid in relieving constipation

* Will lower the risk of illness and injury

*Release excess energy
